Overview
VEIL PDLC Smart Film is a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal film that switches between clear and frosted at the flip of a switch. Powered on, it turns transparent for an unobstructed view; powered off, it turns opaque white for instant privacy. Cut to order for any glass surface, it combines privacy control, heat and UV insulation, and sound dampening in a single film — installed as a self-adhesive layer on existing glass, or laminated between panes for new installations.

Wiring & Installation Notes
- Film is AC-driven and requires a step-down transformer/controller — never connect directly to mains voltage
- Adhesive version: peel the PET release liner and apply directly onto existing glass; connect the film's bus-bar leads to the low-voltage output of the transformer
- Laminated version: film is laminated between two glass panes at time of glazing — specify for new installations or replacement units
- Professional installation recommended for wiring to a wall switch, remote receiver, or smart control module
- Keep installation area free of moisture and dust; avoid trapping air bubbles during application
- Custom sizes cut to order — provide exact width x height in mm/cm when requesting a quote
